I’ve been listening to a French cover of the song ‘Room of Angel’ from the Silent Hill Soundtrack on repeat lately. This cover by Mioune is absolutely beautiful and haunting. Needless to say, I cried while listening to it for the first time. It’s tone and lyrics gave me an instant if of inspiration to draw a sentimental (maybe even a bit angsty) piece of JoJo fan art. Particularly, of course, something with Polnareff.
I decided to draw an image dedicated to Polnareff from Golden Wind and the deaths of his comrades from Stardust Crusaders. I tried my best to go for symbolism, hence the colourful flowers growing out of Avdol, Iggy and Kakyoin’s deadly wounds. Fun fact, This was actually my first time drawing Iggy, or even flowers of this kind. All the sadness this drawing caused me aside, I actually really enjoyed drawing it.
Poor Pol, can’t catch a break...
