Oh, yeah, maybe if you could make the darkest ball frame a bit brighter - it has to be something a bit closer to the shading of the other brighter frames.

ya the lighting .... you can have 2 lines of overlapping shadow when lights passing by
just like how shadow looks when you drive by street lights at night

The shading is fine, but the animation itself is pretty boring, I mean you could add some frames showing that the ball has rolled over him and made him a splash, then he would stand up, notice another ball and start running again. Now that'd be entertaining.
Still, I like it. Good job.

Shading can be a challenge especially in smaller pixels.
Then again practice makes perfection, am sure that you can find the tutoral on DA somewhere there?
