"Well, granted, but that might just be the accent. Besides, some people have qualms about plagerism--"

"Darling! We're thieves who steal from people's bloody minds! I do believe plagerism could very nearly be called part of our occupation."

"...Right."

"Really, dearheart, you're usually so much more well-guarded against possible come-backs. Are you slipping or humouring me?"

"...Let's say humoring you."

"...You didn't get much sleep last night, did you?"

"This damn mark of ours is a fucking hermit. I don't have time to waste if we're going to have enough information on him by the time--"

"I'll be back in half an hour or so, dearest."

"What?"

"There you go, love."

"Hmm...? Wait. Eames, did you just bring me a cup of coffee?"

"It would appear I did."

"Oh my god, it is coffee. What the hell?"

"We can't have our darling Point-Man at anything less than his best, can we?"

"Yeah, guess not...holy fuck, you even know how I like my coffee. That's creepy."

"I creep because I care. Now let's drink our disgustingly unhealthy brews, darling, and I'll be back in fifteen for a lovely, bloody verbal spar."

"See you then."

Fun Fact: I CANNOT drink coffee...it makes me gag on contact with my tongue. But for some reason...I swoon whenever somebody brings somebody else coffee in fics or whatever. Strange.

Also: Eames's shirt is another kaleidoscope picture and by the time I flattened and saved with the burned-in version of my signature, I'd forgotten that I'd already drawn it TWICE on the coffee cups.
