Don't you love how doodles can turn into awesome things?Anyway, very heavy on the watercolor painting on this one, makes it look like art I think ._.
Someone commented about removing the notebook paper lines while I was making this, but I think they add to the 'oldarsedrawingonoldarsepaper' look...and I'm lazy...
What do ya'll think? Should I stop drawing on lined paper and actually get a sketchbook again? ._. Or do you think they're kinda nice in a way?
Anyway, yep, I think this is my style now... Besides, sketches have alot more personality when they're just straight up sketches, uncleaned and unlined...
I should try other brushes maybe, but I don't want to use anything that requires smooth brushstrokes to look good ._. I like messy...cause I'm lazy...

I have to say, i'm not usually a fan of drawing on lined paper as it often is distracting, but I adore how you did this. I love how sketches often work out so much better than lined drawings. you can often really just see raw art emotion with sketches that somehow gets lost when you spend gruelling hours working on something. Not to mention drawing action poses works so much better when you don't overthink it.
In short, well done. Love it!

Lined paper never really bothers me to draw on, in fact I think it's better sometimes cause using blank white paper, you can get lost int he nothing-ness while you're concentrating on your pencil-marks. And that, I think, can sometimes mess up your anatomy XD
The lines are annoying when you try to clean it up digitally though ._. I just prefer not to touch them, cause once you start cleaning them up, you have to do THE WHOLE BUNCH of them, aye? ._.
I painted this digitally with a touch-pad on a laptop after drawing it traditionally XD So I was a bit lazy with it ._. But I still love this style more than my fully digital arts x.x Diffidently has more personality...

You should get a drawing tablet
I had a hanvon brand tablet which cost me $80 that lasted me all through uni and was still going strong. the only problem i had was that it didn't agree with windows 7 so i had to replace it.
