So, today in school i decided to draw nala in human form. I'm not very talented in drawing animals (especially in disney style) so i made her human, yay!Related content

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this adaptation of Nala. She looks like she is descended from Africa, she really does look like an African Queen. It always baffles my mind when people turn her into this Darla Dimple figure.

I love the colors you've chosen; everyone seems to draw Nala as a pasty white woman, but this skin color is how I would imagine her as a human. The colors all blend nicely, and I love that she's holding a lion cub!

It just doesn't seem right. She looks...washed out with a lighter skin tone. I think most artists try to match her colors for fur/skin exactly, but this representation is much better. Plus, if I'm not mistaken, her actress in the broadway play is African American.

Well, the story is supposed to be in africa. Soi decided to make her black, because being white wouldn't make sense in africa.

The shading technique is great here. The drawing looks quite realistic, I especially like her face. And the face has a lot of Nala's impression. So it reminds her in that way, she has her look in the eyes

Beautiful! Not exactly how I pictured Nala to look as a human (my version of her is a blonde haired, blue eyed girl), but it's still excellent!
Love the knife she's carrying around, and the cub is a nice touch.

My friend told me she imagine Nala as a lighter person too, with brown hair and caramel skin, but i don't know. I like it like that xD
