I don't support Scientology, but I have this to say.
How's Anon any better than Scientology? They spread hatred about Jews, people who aren't white, promote violence on the latter, hack every site they're little hearts desire, laugh at totally inappropriate things like the Holocaust, the list is endless. And they're protesting Scientology for what THEY did? How did Anon get so many supporters so quickly? That'sīģŋ unbelievable.

Anon got supporters simply because most people don't know anything about them except for chanalogy
personally, I don't support Anon's hate activities either, but the group can be a useful tool, and in any case most of their hate remarks are not serious anyway, they are TROLLS and nothing they say should be taken seriously

They have no proper reason to exist to begin with. I think I met one of them on YouTube but he seems just whiney, trying to butter me up saying sh@# like "They're not a hate-group.", or "Maybe you're not using good enough logic.". They're also supported by Encyclopedia Dramatica which makes them worse.

they are the inevitable result of web communities where there are no rules and no identification, places like chan sites

I think the masks represent Chanalogy in particular rather than Anon as a whole
and in a few cases I think they're right, such as when they went after Cooper Lawrence for her bashing of Mass Effect, when something threatens them they will fight back
but for the most part, yes, they are evil
but you know as well as I do that the group is virtually invincible
