She shoots the pistol of the pill into her own head.

As Mizaline suffers from her ill mind which is emotional and swings her up and down, she takes the medicines to suppress her mind.

Your mind can be your biggest enemy when it's troublesome. You can't escape from it as you are connected to it in flesh.

Emotions are a lot related to the substances in the brains, so they can be changed by the medicines. But medicines need the careful use as they can cause the worse troubles when they are used in wrong ways... however, I don't think that Mizaline has a healthy use...

Hers are not "Medicines" anymore, but are "Drugs".
