Description
We choose the natural death than the life with toxic mechanicsLet's return to our nature, our origin together, my dearWe feel that our blood is going out from our bodiesWe feel that our bodies are slowly dissolved into the blood oceanThis is the heaven of us two...
Let's exist in this eternal warmth together, eternally...
Drawing for my original SF story, Blood Ocean Adventure.
The blood ocean means the absolute nature comparing to the ultramodern mechanism which crews are building.
No matter how much crews try to get out from the nature for the sake of living, this ocean always invite them to their nature.
Trying to live while abandoning your nature, or, Letting yourself die for the rule of the nature?
It depends on each crews... And there's no right answer for it.

Stunning good artwork !
A little aggressive ; i don't think that this dissolution
happens like this, but it's already a very interesting approach...
If we could be sat at a bar, talking philosophy, we could have
good time i think. )
Cheers Mizuki !
Thank you for tickling my heart and brain as always !

Was that creppy technology what made them banished from the paradise?
Was the paradise just a symbolical representation of a era of happines and peace?
The next paradise can be found, or be created?
If so, the same creppy technology is capable to create it?
Or instead, their fate is to bring their souls to their "Mother"?
As you can see, this story made me a lot of questions...

Yeah, I make this series kinda abstract, leave many informations unclean and available for free imagination.. So you can imagine something freely, while I post a part of my thoughts via each pictures~

To be honest, a thing that i find fascinating about abstract stories is because the the good thing is that you can imagine everything that you want but you will never get the answer...

That's sad, but makes sense. I guess some of them would hate their new life, especially since they're becoming dependent on the technology and every one of them can get easily replaced by their clone. But I guess some of them are afraid of death and will do anything to survive, even if it means going completely against their nature. So yeah, there is no option. Either they die or live pretty hard life where they are still in danger. Poor little dogs.
As always, I love the details!

I'm glad you understand their situation. ;-; Indeed it's a hard choice to choose one from those.
Thank you so much, I'm glad.

I mentioned this in the last deviation (that maybe they could return to the ocean to escape the machines)!! EEEEEEE, I'm excited!
I'm not sure if I should treat this as a tragic suicide pact or a happy transition to a healthier life. Maybe the ennui of being forever in the Blood Ocean could be countered by the fact that they will always have each other and other crew members to keep them company. But the thing that really gets me is the 'there is no right answer' part. Maybe it's different strokes for different folks, with some actually being happy forever in the Blood Ocean while others would not be able to handle it.
I was a bit confused that the dog was upside down at first, but once I got my bearings I loved the perspective of this picture. A home run as usual!

Yeah, I think these crews have different opinions to Blood Ocean... (Okay, only before they started designing their babies by clone technology. By this action, they even can design their minds - thoughts.)
I'm glad you enjoy it! Thanks for your comment. ^w^

Definitely would be the older crew members and not the genetically engineered ones. *shiver*
No problemo! Really digging the sci-fi/dark fantasy atmosphere to it. I'm wondering how it will all end for the crews. Will one of them manage to break free of their programming to help the others regain their lost humanity? Will Belthor speak from beyond the grave with his preserved brain? I'm definitely tuning in to find out!!

I'm glad you like such atmosphere too. x)
I think after once everyone has been brainwashed, it's very hard to go back to their natural origin.. And indeed I don't plan to draw the end of this series soon.. but I'm glad you have fun by imagining their future. x)

That's so much blood. It looks bootiful.
So, who's the hand gripping his paw? It doesn't look canine like the other characters in this story. It looks very human-like, even though it looks like it has 4 fingers. And it also looks like it has fur covering the arms. I'm highly intrigued
