Description
He walked into the room, where the large screen is existing as an owner of that roomThis monitor is called "Belthor", it's a name of his deceased friendHe puts his paw to the cold screen, and recalling his dear friendHe never stops believing that "he" is still there, and watching his voyage with a considerate mindJust as how "he" was doing before the decease
Drawing for my original SF story, Blood Ocean Adventure.
Sometimes the crews of the submarine reuse the dead bodies of other crews.
They couldn't forget the great person aka scientist Belthor. So they transformed his brain into the AI of one computer, and believing that he is still there and helps them on their voyage.
No matter if it's true or not - No one can make sure of it since the cold screen doesn't respond anything to them.

After the two pictures that came out after this, I feel no sense of good from this. I feel nothing but Contempt and Disgust.
Had I gotten this before the other two, of the Breeding Lab, and the 'Sleep Box', I would have felt a minor surge of, "Maybe, maybe he's truly there", but when I see how it is, behind the scenes away from Belthor's Friend, to the rest of the Sub of Horrors, I feel not but a queasy feeling at this.
To see how they are brainwashed into following Cruel acts that would actually distort and Destroy their chances of Survival, how they have literally destroyed their own means of Normal Reproduction, and one of the ways to create Bonds of Love and Compassion, makes this scene even more horrible.
Belthor was dead for a long time. His mind died when he did, especially with the Error messages on the screen, clearly stating how there is nothing there, just lines upon lines of code being fed through the long Dead Pup's Brain.
It is why I wouldn't care if the Sub was inevitably sunk. There is nothing to be done to save them. Any attempt at Revolution, if it was even possible with the Socialist Ideals Drilled into these Lambs in Pup-Pelt, would be swiftly Culled by the 'Leadership', If there was even one to began with!
I can't even see them procreating, as their Reproductive Organs have all but deteriorated. They're probably like Kenny/Barbie Dolls now, just flat flesh and a hole to piss from, so even if the crew escaped, how will they reproduce without that damnable facility? There is no hope. Their species will die out with the sub because of Irreversible damage to both mind and body, caused by a limey Poozer high up on the Socialist ladder, if, of course, they even exist in that bloody sub!

Hmm, the use of all resources, even the bodies of the dead, emphasizes the gloom of this world. And the picture shows it all!
Well done, Mizz!
P.S. Your universe is a mixture of Science Fiction and horror.)))

Yeah, coloring can be really Annoying too. Sometimes the effort deserves more respect.

That's so awesome. It has a lot of feeling in it, the shading and lighting, add to the effect. It's so sad.

Dang, I really like this piece! It's got a good deal of atmosphere to it. Very solemn.
What is Belthor's body hooked up to (the brain has parts going from it to the computer, but the remaining parts seem to be attached to parts going elsewhere)? Are they reusing his body for organic transplants for the crew just like they use robotic prosthetics on their own limbs, or are such transplants unusable once the Blood Ocean begins its process of assimilating the body (becoming sort of contagious)?

Mizuki-T-A In reply to BonKramer [2019-10-15 08:25:31 +0000 UTC]
Thanks so much for liking it! ^^
Not all bodies of crews are gonna be taken by Blood Ocean. By the causes of deaths, their bodies can remain and so other crews can reuse them.
As how they can transplant the machinery into their bodies, it's also able to transform the bodies into machinery (or combine the bodies with machinery). And I guess that they have done it onto Belthor.
