Ya know, I need to bring something up. Despite us calling her Vinyl, her official name is DJ pon-3. That's fine hasbro, but then how come as a human she's still referred to as DJ pon-3 (pony)?

Actually I can disprove the mute thing. In one of the mlp fim episodes, you see her in the background talking to another pony and her mouth is moving as if having a conversation. So no she's not mute, hasbro's just to lazy to make her talk.
