Did a digital version on one of my favorite robots.

One of the best robot that never won the UK title on Robot Wars is most certainly Firestorm. To me it was the Mark Martin of Robot Wars. A bridesmaid, but never the bride, Firestorm was one of the best. Known for its front hinged flipper weapon and sleek wedge shape design, this robot has slowly evolved since its debut back in 1999 during the 3rd Wars. Firestorm was built by Graham Bone and Alex Mordue who would be joined later by Hazel Heslop. 5 different versions of Firestorm ran over its 5 year run from series 3 to series 7. Each where updated and improved to keep up with the advance robots. It never missed the Semi Finals and it made the Grand finals 3 out of its 5 years and finished 3rd 3 times. Firestorm's only Robot Wars title though was the Commonwealth Carnage Championship where it was highlighted by Firestorm flipping the 1600 pound house robot Mr. Psycho. Firestorm retire following series 7 in 2003. Today no one knows where Graham and Hazel are now. They got married after there robot's last fight. Alex however came out of retirement and is now competing in the beetleweight division with his robot named Saw Loser.
