I've been wanting to do Bravestarr fan art for a while now and this is going to be the first of many I hope to add to my gallery and I decided to start with the main villain Tex Hex. I mean how can you not love an undead, demonically empowered alien cowboy?

With Tex I tried to stick as close to his animated design as possible while throwing in details found in the action figure which in most cases with Bravestarr toys, differs to varying degrees from the animated design. On top of this I added in my own detailing to keep with the skull and crossbones motif the original design had.

For Hex's Neutra Laser I used the action figure and life size toy replicas as the basis to give him his gold plated blaster which quite frankly looks very flashy and bad ass to me compared to the generic gray ones everyone got in the cartoon.

At the last minute I threw in a recently destroyed Prairie Rocket and Prairie Person Prospector Pete being the latest victim of Hex's lust for Kerium ore.
