Making mummified pokemon was really fun. In case you didn't notice, Steelix's spikes are embalming tools and Heracross' horn is the base of an egyptian fan.
I don't know about the rest of Distortion's contestants but I found it really difficult to do anything past 1v1, too much Pokemon for me to draw, too much battling, couldn't focus on the story as much.
Well, I had a lot of fun drawing the creepy faces of Zack. I was hoping for a chance to fuse humour with horror in Distortion and I got it! (My style is heavily inspired by Ito Junji's work heck I even gave Nana his family name. He normally does horror stuff but you should totally read his slice-of-life-manga series he made about his house cats).

The action shots with heracross and onyx were so intense!! I really enjoyed the paneling layouts as well, keeps the progression really interesting when it isnt just square after square in a line. This was a brilliant entry, I'm really glad you got through to the third round, so now I can see more adventures with Nana and co!

This is amazing, I thoroughly enjoyed it!! ahhh Nana's pancham XD so cuuute! I love Nana's personality (I think I've said this many times). Also, great frikkin awesome action scenes with heracross!! ahhhh!!
