Maybe you get that stuff on a mannequin or make a gelatin bust and swing at it yourself. It's a hell a lot better then getting your own bones broken.

Seriously, tho - that armor's pretty good. The main trick would be deflecting whatever came at you. The part I wouldn't want to take a hit on is the head; that's just a polartec balaclava -- and I already have had my jaw broken and know what that feels like.
If I was a cop in the field in that stuff, I'd be cowering behind my shield.

What missing is a face shield they usually have conceited to there helmets. I don't know how strong they are tho.
