Description Edward Woodward as Robert McCall, The Equalizer . . . . he left us way too soon. His nickname was Teddy, and he seemed a sweet and funny man. He could also sing! His son Peter is also an actor; they appeared in the spin off of Babylon Five together . . . .

I loved The Equalizer. I wanted to be like Robert McCall when I grew up. This is a fine portrait of Woodward.

I don't remember that bit from The Equalizer; wish they'd bring it out on DVD. Or have they? I've been out of touch for a while due to ill health, so have no idea which shows are out there in DVD format. I loved Teddy; he left us far too soon.

What a stunning tribute to Edward Woodward, AKA Robert McCall. This has such a "newspaper" clipping feel to it, like the old graphics in them for classifieds and advertisements. I love the black and white contrasting off one another. It goes well with the Equalizer advertisement they featured in the show.

Woodward was such a fine actor ("Breaker Morant") and singer ("Morning Has Broken"). I would love to have the "Callan" series one day, some of his earlier work in the spy genre.

There was talk of Russel Crowe picking up the role, then Denzel Washington. Wouldn't it be great if Woodward's own son played the role? He has a similar look and voice. Was it this same son (Peter), or another, who was featured with him on "The Equalizer"? There was a scene in a bar with McCall brooding about his own father, and his father, dressed in military uniform from WWI appears before him and speaks to him. Then, he vanishes. It was amazing because they looked and sounded alike.

Thanks. I need to draw more, most of the stuff is older than I care to think about . . . .

I have two more graphics of The Equalizer; look in my gallery, if you'd like to see them. How about McCloud? I'm not sure I've put him in yet . . . . bad me.

No, I think Teddy would be honored to be remembered so fondly. Loved him in Over My Dead Body, too.
