It (the movie itself) kind of feels like a traditional 2D movie in 3D CGI's clothing. If that makes sense (note: that's meant to be a compliment on the movie).

They had a small budget to make the movie they didn't have much of a choice.

Yeah, CG, traditional animation, gaming, etc. These things are visual media, and though admirable in messaging, if it doesn't translate well visually it isn't effective.

I have a sorta ironic liking of it because the wolves look nothing like wolves. Just like how wolfaboos can't draw wolves either. It's kinda funny in a sad way.

There was actually a ton I liked about that movie; the art, the animation, - and be it wittingly or un - the crude sense of humor portrayed in a lot of the interactions. XD
The movie made me laugh a bunch, and actually inspired me to learn 3D modelling, so I gave it a decent rating~
