One day, I was at work. And someone had a banter abour how regularly she emptied her fridge at home. Then there was this crack about mouldy food items saying your name when being inadvertently cultivated in one of the fridge compartments. I must admit, I had a real laugh with this one. I really wanted to punctuate the flow of the narrative primarily with Tails' facial expressions and the dialogue bounced around between himself and Sonic. Then I thought hey, why not throw in Christopher Thorndyke from Sonic X as an extra. A number of my strips have a pretty thick border round them, it seemed like a waste of space, so I thought I'd trim it down this time.I have a confession to make, I have been guilty of leaving the fridge unattended for long periods of time. On one occasion when I was studying at uni, something began to take root
Anyway, I have grown older and wiser and will never play god again
It is up to you to decide what is scarier. finding something alive in the fridge, or Chris Thorndyke lurking otside your house
Please enjoy, and try not to have any nightmares. Oh, and one more thing. Whoever can recognise the reference gets a Llama.Tails belongs to "Sega", Christopher Thorndyke is property of "for kids".

I love this comic. The funny part of the whole comic was indeed the facial expressions. Especially Chris's! Omg! That just bout made me die! My f favorite quote is "And I thought Chris Thorndyke was weird." And the detail of this picture is absolutely perfect! I almost thought I was in the vegetable tion of the fridge.............or the dairy. But, if I could do one thing with this picture, it would be I would post it on the news and say "If you can't top this, no one can!" And if I were to put a caption with this, it would read, "If you don't clean the fridge out regularly, this could happen to you!"

this is a very good one the righting it strong the art design is very good and the length of this comic is good even though there was no need for Chris to be in the background it gave each panel just that little more to look at witch gust makes it work even more for me I do like witch angles you used for this but for a comic this long I would of liked it to have more of an ending it mite be a comedic comic but there should be more of a pay of in the end but over all it is a very well made comic and I would like to thank you for sharing this with all the people of DA and I hope to see more stuff like this from you

This was simply AMAZING! Not to mention hilarious! There was so much detail put into this and made it realistic. I mean, with Chris in the background there doing those faces, hah!, I got the hiccups! It's almost like he's stalking Tails. OR IZ HE?! XD The old rotting food looks absolutely disgusting, y'know, in a good way. When I saw that shadow (lolz, a.deviantart.net/avatars/s/h/s⦠" alt=" " title="shadowthehedgehogplz" />), the first word that popped to mind was FOREBODIIIIIIIIIIIIIING before I read on. And don't get me started on Tails' face when he reacted to 'It'! GIT DA REACTOR! XD I give this 100 rings for detail, humor, plot, creativity, and SHININESS! No, really, it's shiny!

I really wanted to nail the facial expressions to punctuate the comedy and I'm happy with the result. Despite this and my own personal satisfaction, I do feel there is always room to improve in some way. Every artist is their own critic, it's a curse. I know what it's like to run out of things to say, so I can relate XD

Do you mean the punchline "Quade, start the reactor?" It's a quote from the original Total Recall movie. The creature that originally said that line was a freakish looking mutant that told Arnold Schwarzenegger to start the reactor in order to give the surface of Mars a breathable atmosphere.
I hope the description can explain the whole point of the gag
