Colored pencils on Bristol, 2,5x3,5". First in my new ACEO series, "Animal Yokai". Yokai are supernatural beings from Japanese folklore. Original sold, prints available.Found throughout East Asian folklore are innumerable tales about the fox, an animal considered predisposed to magic and particularly prone to developing ghostly qualities. Foxes are both divine and mischievous beings, adept at shapeshifting and illusion, and often accused of possessing and misleading humans.
