I was kinda worried about thieves as well.Β I tried to take all of my stuff offline for the most part.Β Kinda hard to make a living with everyone copying your stuff instead of buying it.Β Maria, I really like this one.Β Very nice.Β Β Which is the other thing.Β Artist inspire one another to do better and to explore new ideas.Β With that, we actually get much better, at least I have with this site.Β Maria, you do totally different stuff than me, but your skills really helped me to grow quite a bit.Β You and Nimra are my favs.Β Oddly, you both are night and day from one another, and I am night and day from each of you.Β You both have helped me go professional with my art and start making money.Β Β So lay your head to rest knowing you saved the world once again.Β May you pencils be with you!Β lolΒ Sorry had too!

It comes with the territory. You have to promote your work online but if you put if out there, thieves are just an unfortunate reality. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Just watermark everything and go after them if and when you do find them... And thanks again for the kind works!

I am doing this polar bear sketch.Β Β It is huge for me.Β Big money, big advertisement.Β I want to make it really say something with how I do it.Β Put my signature on it.Β Β Like making it a Michael Angelo kind of piece.Β I have like a month to get it done from today.Β Practicing eyes, nose, mouth, hairlines.Β Then scenery.Β Β I have the mountains down, the clouds something just clicked and they turned amazing.Β Β My signature on both.Β Β Need to work on ice, and a hole.Β I can rough it, and then fill it in carefully, but I want way more.Β Β I want everything to say something.Β To take your breath away.Β Being a perfectionist and demanding more out of my art.Β I need it to come alive.Β Β Emotion, action, everything in a breath taking piece.Β I want to make it art.Β Of the truest form.Β Β I melody of shapes and textures you know are not real, yet they are.Β This piece is my challenge.Β Β My drive for perfection of my art.Β Β Β You have your signature.Β You could doodle something and I know the strokes are yours.Β Its your style.Β Β That is what I am after.Β More than mere scratchings anyone can do.Β I want it to be a signature no one can do.Β

You're welcome. I don't even like to have watermark... but, yeah, art thieves... Β I just had a dealing with this Chinese company that offers to create "original" replica of art. They steal images off of internet and create each artists' galleries, then their painters create replica when a customer orders. They copy original artist's signature and everything. They say theyΒ will remove the art ifΒ the original artists feel it is not suitable to be listed there (ya think?

Yeah, it's pretty sad... Another big thing in China is mining fake minerals and such in online games all night long while the account holders here in the west are off line. People here are too lazy to even do their own gaming.

I've heard people spend real money for a virtual property for a game... I can't believe how much the gaming world has changed. I played 8-bit Super Mario when I was young, and was thrilled just to have an extra life. Wow, I feel ancient, lol

I know what you mean. I love games (including online games, though don't have much time for them anymore), and I've never understood why people buy stuff. Part of the fun is developing your character through exploring and solving quests and such. I guess maybe their insecurities translate into the virtual world.
