You know, I hardly ever imagined what the characters within those ships looked like - unless they had a voice. Karan left... little... To the imagination. She was really the only character who you saw. Riesstiu was visible (as a silhouette within his life-support pod thing), I had imagined Fleet Intelligence as a formal man - this seems to have been captured, but I hadn't imagined him with facial hair. A nice touch. Elson was, in my head, a stern, determined and stoic individual who wasn't afraid to give his life for his cause.
The Kadeshi Ambassador was something that I never really pictured... An enigmatic one, I suppose.
I like the extra touches on Karan ('specially the hair - that's something that I always wondered "What had happened to it?"). Your takes on the characters are pretty fresh perspectives, but you've managed to capture the essence of each of them. Riesstiu is a deranged and old yet still strong man who wants to rule his plaything for just that little longer.

Hmm, the Kadeshi pilot looks alot like a Jaffa from SG-1 - well they are pretty fanatical. Fleet Intel ain't looking that healthy, to much time with virtual light and screens - the loss of his family probably has something to do with it. Elson strangely looks like the Vulcan ambassador, ah well, that's probably because he is a good guy. As for Riesstiu, he's looking as twisted as usual.

I'm glad to see you posting your Homeworld fanart over here. When Search used to work, there was this utter dearth of HW art. The best I'd find is the occasional Karan S'jet picture. 
Methinks once this last gallery freeze is done with, I am doing no more of those and getting some of my other Homeworld stuff up. Including that final successful one of Makaan. Damn, took me, God knows how many drawings, to get his face right!
BTW, I wouldn't mind seeing your take on Mr. Warlord sometime.

Another thought. He has a subtle British accent...and a very calm voice. If I could think of some way of describing it better....
Basically it's your classic British supervillain voice, with a touch of Hal 9000 thrown in.

SPAZ! It's people doing Homeworld character art! And it has Kadeshi people!
Eh...yeah, I'm too excited over this, but no one does HW character art these days. Melikes this, especially Karan's hair for some reason. You like very narrow, angular faces and pokey chins, don't you? Riesstiu's head looks a wee bit big. And the Kadeshi guy in suspenders really amuses me. Or is the guy in suspenders a Hiigaran? I assigned the names in order, starting in a counterclockwise circle from that guy.

Guess you're right about Riess' head, in fact I think all their heads are too large to some degree. Hmmm..
The descriptions are left to right for each row. Fleet Command should read Fleet Intel, that's who the top right guy is.
It's true that HW character art is hard to find; that's why Deepchrome and I have started doing some pretty much out of nowhere. She's been trying to get a perfect look for Makaan, while I concentrated on HW1 characters.
You should hang out in the RB studio more, that's where all these came from.

Yeah, I know...I don't go back there enough. I should actually draw my HW chars. I'm just too much of a chicken to put them on RB rather than here.
