It was kinda tough to force myself back to drawing after the hurricane, and by some miracle we in the east coast managed to dodge a cannon, not a bullet. But regardless Irma was big enough to affect the entire state, and I can't imagine how devastating it is to be a resident in the keys, especially those who ignored the mandatory evacuation notice. I only hope they remain strong and recover soon.

I'm just relieved that my condo remained almost untouched; some water managed to get in from my balcony but nothing too serious. There were some serious damages around the parking garage and pool area, and also a lot of trees were knocked down around the neighborhood. My family and I had to evacuate to my uncle's place since my area is just an island with two bridges connected, one on each end, so we'd be stuck with a limited amount of food and items for a good few days or worse case scenario, a few weeks, so it's best to be safe than sorry. I kept telling myself that nothing was going to happen to my condo but I was worried as hell anyway, but thankfully nothing happened, and our power came back a day after we came back home.

So yeah, I drew and submitted something to show that I'm back and doing okay, and a special thanks to those who've been reading and responding with kind words to my status updates. I'm just relieved to get through this in one piece.
