Wonderful work! I love the lighting, and your sculpting is amazing! The longer you look, the more amazing detail you notice. I always look forward to your next piece of artwork

amazing!! The muscle tone is perfect strong but not "super hero" big. I love the barren look of the background and her armour/clothing is fantastic!! The only thing i must point out is the flags are blowing in the wind but not her hair. And that is just me being overly critical of an awesome picture!!

Yeah I know it, it's because I plan to make the flags
after finishing the scene, so I was too lazy to change the hairs
(I knew that one people saw that )

If you use enough hair spray, a woman's hair will stay in place. Seems that is the case here. Right! Good observation though. Drew.

Or maybe she didn't washed her hairs for a while

On the contrary, here hair is obviously freshly washed, and she has just had a manicure and a pedicure too, to say nothing of a fresh application of makeup. How could you possibly think, then, that she is a soldier patrolling a frontier? Where are her scars? Do you really think someone would go into combat dressed like that, rather, say, than wearing armor?

And did you notice the out of real proportion of her body too ?
Fantasy, it's only fantasy, thanks

My point being, if tis fantasy, it has to look more realistic. That isn't what Eowyn looked like.

That's priceless. Seriously, you got a real howl of laughter out of me from that. BTW, you're still running 2 to 1 on your site versus mine concerning 'Stag'. On yours, it will never reach 'Spanking' in popularity, but I'm watching it pass everything else in its climb. Good to hear from you my dear friend. Drew.

You really love women. You really do, as do I; and as such each of us in our own way tries to somehow visually bring such admiration to the viewer. In the truest sense you admire them greatly. What we have here is a female standing tall, displaying in her determined face and powerful stance, all of her courage, nobility, and sense of duty. Congratulations, my friend. Drew

Everything about this is fantastic. The drama of the sky and the flags form a perfect backdrop, her body, muscualar yet feminine, her face and the subtle expression, the cool blue lighting....you really do set the bar higher with every image you do. It is a genuine pleasure to see your work.

"Merci" 'In deed'. This work goes way beyond image. We’re talking ‘Masterpiece’ here – And also there. By ‘there’ I mean my own Deviant Site. I have just added a new series titled: ‘Masterpieces By Others’ and with Mike’s permission (he’s the artist by-the-way) I placed this rendering as the second featured picture. Now, Mike is too modest to place any of the following comments by me in his ‘Artist's Comments Section’, so I’ll have to slip it into the viewers comments section. The following is a portion of what I wrote when I uploaded this picture on my site: “This rendering I have titled: ‘Masterpieces By Others - Nr: 2’. It is the second of a new series of renderings I consider ‘Masterpieces’ that are not part of my ‘Gallery Of Combative Women’. They will be uploaded one per week and the maximum by any one artist will be two. Because I do not own these images, I have asked for, and received, e-mail written permission to display his or her works on my ‘DA’ Gallery Site. Continuing this series is an artist whom I consider the best in the business. While the previous upload didn’t exactly fit the ‘Combative Women’ genre that is the theme of this website, this one certainly does. The artist titled it: ‘The Guardian’. Mike, the artist, is French and when he started constructing this rendering he initially named it: ‘Watcher’. However, this Frenchman really knows his English, and as such the final word ‘Guardian’ is quite apropos. Myself, I initially would have titled it: ‘Stoic’. But upon reflection, I would have been wrong with such a title; Mike chose the better, and I might add, finer word. Shows you what I know. But what I do know is artistic genius has a way of taking something that could have been mundane and turning it into something exceptional. However, with this work, as in the previous upload, what he intended to make exceptional, I believe was turned into monumental. Upon close inspection the viewer will see how a mighty artistic talent can create an image that is so extraordinary in its quality and depth, that it gives new meaning to: Stunning. Oh, by-the-way, Mike is the one whom I commissioned to do my ‘Stag At Sharkey’s-Redux’. ‘Nuff said. Drew.”
