Description One of the most productive freshwater habitats are the coastal Moss-forests. Aquatic mosses formed immense colonies in the past few million years, a single moss can grow up to 10 meters high. Apart from the mosses, java fern, tiger lotus, and even freshwater sponge descendants can be found here.  

These underwater jungles provide ample hiding space for organisms such as the False-radiodonts.
False-radiodonts are a new genus of fairy-shrimp, which evolved to live upside down because it proved to be more efficent while feeding on the mosses. Now with this body plan they very much resemble the extinct radiodonts such as Anomalocaris, from the by gone Cambrian period on Earth.

The most common species in the moss-forest is Pseudoradiodont longicaudatus. It is the largest species, grow to a lenght of 45-50cm long. They scrape algae off rocks, sift through sand for small creatures or even eat bigger plants.
