A reference sheet for my version of Maria, inspired by various reference sheets I found on here!
With her weapon reference and some tiny sketches of her attacks as well XDEdit: I added the arm length to the side (40cm) and her body lengths in general XD

Maria is one of my favorite Sonic characters and I really love your style of her!(especially the hair) This is a very cool reference sheet. I have a question thou... Does she still have her memories from the ARK? And how(in your universe) did she become a hedgehog?

First off, thank you so much! X3 She is my favorite sonic character in general, human and hedgehog forms, I just love her!
Second, Eggman essentially created her as a fighter and assistant to him BUT when he was finishing creating her with artificial memories, another prototype lifeform had broken out and caused chaos to the lab Maria was kept in, allowing her to break loose from the lab she was in and escape Eggman with no recollection of her past, until she finds a chaos emerald in a strange staff she found while escaping, allowing her to fight against enemies.
Gaining a memory through the emerald, her search begins to find the other emeralds to eventually gain her real memories back, and possibly meets a certain black hedgehog along her journey~

1) Thank you for replying! Maria is definitely one of my favorite's to talk about, her personality and her design are just too cute :3.
2) Wow, that's pretty cool! It seems... feasible in a Sonic game. I had an idea kinda similar about her not having any memories at first, but then having them later on. It nice that she has her memories back (eventually) from the ARK. I don't think it would be very nice for her or Shadow if she couldn't remember anything...Anyway, the story reminds me alot of Shadow's story in Sonic Heros, with the whole "person that was thought to be dead, but was then found to be alive as a memory wiped experiment, that will eventually get their memories back someday" thing, but I think that's just me XD. The staff is a cool idea, I've never seen anyone else give Maria a weapon before. It's pretty unique. Like, whenever I see a picture with it, I know that's your Maria.
Can't wait to see where this story goes! I bet it will be good 
And I'm sure Shadow will be very happy to see Maria again

Maria: I'm not just a human, Guess what I'm also as.
Ryan: A hedgehog?
Maria: Yes.
Ryan(Narrator): So, Maria Started transforming to a hedgehog.
Ryan: Wow! That transformation is Amazing.
Maria: Thanks.
Maria: Great, My feet hurt.
Ryan: What's wrong, Maria?
Maria: My feet hurt, because I Ran to you, and transformed, and I need some rest.
Ryan: Don't worry, I'll help you.
Ryan(Narrator): So Ryan Picked up Maria to Ryan's Nail salon.
Maria: Wow, You have a nice salon.
Ryan Yeah, I even do foot massage.
Ryan(Narrator): Ryan started with foot massaging. First He removed her Blue shoes, and showed Maria's 5 toed foot. Next, Ryan Removed the other. Maria wriggled her toes.
Maria: That's better.
Ryan: Now it's time for a foot massage.
Maria: Thanks Ryan.
Ryan: No problem.
