I wasn't going to release this one since it was more of an emotinal thing I did when this took place about half a year ago. But meh, here you go xD I suppose poeple can relate to this vicious circle I go through almost every time I get in contact with a girl.So yeah, based on a true event.

There is nothing like offending everyone with everything. That's the main reason I don't talk to anyone anymore. Friends, family, men, women, cats. I can't talk to anyone with out stuff like this happening. Yet I still try to plan ahead like I know what's going to happen...

How sad... I'm usually the one on the other end trying to give subtle signals I'm not interested. But boy, getting someone's hopes up is cruel.. I'm sure she didn't do it intentionally, but I'm always ever cautious of the signals I'm putting out.

Yeah it's not really an easy subject - the whole "friendzoning"-ordeal xD We guys should read the signals. But I suppose when you're around a certain age, where you're more naive and inexperienced, it's easy to overlook said signals haha~
But yeah, she obviously didn't mean to hurt anyone. But she was very special in many other ways, that made me more confused, which in turn made her confused (?). Because she gave me a smooch on the mouth one time, just before we cut off contacts. Just gotta move on

It's a shared responsibility :\P Really truly it is. Us girls have to be careful of the signals that we are sending out that might be conflicting and giving friends mixed information. It's a shared responsibility, it really is.. Getting someone to walk you home, take you out to lunch, single you out to hang with etc. etc. are stronger signals than subtly trying to indicate in passing conversation that guys and girls can just be friends, it's vague and general. Haha. So don't feel too bad if that's how it went down. You reacted pretty normally.
Sounds like she was confused too, about what she wanted. But I'm glad that you've got it smoothed out inside of you. Making your peace with it is the best result that could be asked for, and you sound pretty at peace now. Kudos.

I can't deny: I really felt sad after I read it.
I've been in this situation so many times before that, although being well-known on how to react and get over, it still hit in the feels. And that girl... OMG, I wanna punch her face and bewbs until they become a flat piece of meat.
It would be more noble if she got the "message" (which is not hard to catch up once you hang out with someone) and tried to talk about it. Yeah, I'm really butthurted about that. ಠ▃ಠ

Like I said, I don't hold anything against this girl xD More things happened after this incident between us that made me realize we weren't made for each other =w= So technically it wasn't even friendzoning haha

It's not exactly something new: The storyline in Zelda 2 revolves entirely around WAKING ZELDA UP FROM A COMA -- No "save the world" there -- and the two of them start kissing in the damn credits scene.
I might know my Zelda facts a little too well.
Kinda sad it's so incredibly easy to identify with this type of scenario too.

Remain a gentleman, and someday you'll find someone who appreciates it and reciprocates. I waited a looong time and now I'm married to the sweetest girl ever, and we have everything in common. It's worth it, to keep your standards and be a good person.
I also think it's funny when girls get surprised when they find out a guy who has been spending a lot of time with them might want more than friendship. It's in our nature to find mates, or at the very least, test the waters...
One more thing... Friendship IS the foundation of a WONDERFUL relationship.
