This is a request for lorddurion featuring his version of Jonathan Crane as he is starting to become the Scarecrow.

lorddurion is making a story for this version of Crane and asked for my input so I gave him a synopsis of my Scarecrow's origin story.

Here is a brief summary:

Jonathan Crane grew up terrified of the scarecrow in the field next to his house and his father would always mock him for it and call him weak. After his mother died his father would send him to stay at his abusive grandparent's house. Then his father developed the fear experiments trying to cure Jonathan of his phobias.

After some years pass, Jonathan has become a college professor and part time phycologist at Arkham and some of his colleagues, being aware of Jonathan's still persistent fear of scarecrows, lock him in a room with one as a prank. Jonathan breaks down completely, escapes the room, and terrifies and murders his tormenters. He escapes the police using the mask from the scarecrow to avoid identification.

Later, he visits his father's grave and tells his father that he is no longer weak. He says that he has become the bringer of fear, and states "Now I'm the one they're afraid of, I'm the thing that goes bump in the night. Now I'm the Scarecrow."
