Here are my thoughts on Clarence Season 1.Favorites: Pretty Great Day With A Girl, Money Broom Wizard, Clarence Millions, Dream Boat, Slumber Party, Rough Riders Elementary, Goldfish Follies, and Lil' Buddy.
Least Favorites: Honk, Nature Clarence, Bedside Manners, and Straight Illin.

I realize, seeing in this scorecard (which i like a lot, despite some minor disagreements), that just before the hiatus, the show was kinda showing signs of slowly running out of ideas (or at least started to be more hit or miss). Bad episodes were still rare, but most episodes were getting just okayish. I was scared it would eventually become a boring show specially because I fucking love it, it's probably my favorite current show (note that I said favorite, not best, there are some shows that I also love and would definetely consider "better", like gravity falls, but my heart is with this one). Thankfully, since it came back from the hiatus, the episodes have been great (well, there's Straight Illin, but thats only 1 episode). I'm really happy about that and I hope it continues that way.
Welp, this message turned a lot longer than expected. I'm just very happy at the place the show is now and would really like to see some updated scorecard sometime. I really like your reviews.

Bedside Manners is one of the worst episodes of the series...it feels like a modern spongebob episode with squidward

But Clarence wasn't my problem with the episode. It was Joshua's bad luck that was the problem.

Only a few disagreements-
Lizard day afternoon- BORING (Upper side of meh)
The forgotten- I can see why people like it... but it was just too abnormal for me (Lower side of meh)
Neighborhood grill- You seriously call this episode good even though it features an innocent man's eye being gouged? (Bad)
Too gross for comfort- (Bad)
I have yet to see patients.

Lizard Day Afternoon- I loved the part with Clarence and Sumo chasing the lizard.
The Forgotten- I really liked the references to Peanuts, spy movies, and old sitcoms.
Neighborhood Grill- But the rest of the episode was great, and the moment you are referring to only lasted about 5 seconds and it was off-screen.
Too Gross for Comfort- This is just about kids being kids in this one. They were just trying to get the girl out of the tree house for the common 'No Girls' rule that little boys often use. Plus the gross out was toned down to a minimum so that the characters on the show were more grossed out then the audience was which is the correct way to use gross out humor.

The only things I don't agree with is that I hate the Forgotten and Average Jeff. Other than that, yeah it's a pretty great show. I'm surprised that no one talks about A Pretty Great Day with a Girl. That's what actually got me into the show (and it's my current favorite next to Slumber Party and Dream Boat)

I really like the Forgotten for the peanuts references and I just found Average Jeff to be an interesting look into Jeff's mind, plus I love it when he was dragging Kimby's desk through the door.

I thought The Forgotten would've been a great look into the mind of a quiet, socially anxious kid if it was more of its own thing (rather than an obvious Peanuts parody) and that the ending with Clarence blabbering like an idiot was just sour. Average Jeff was really funny and tried to tell Jeff a good lesson (that he doesn't deserve any better than his friends if he's a jerk), but it was ruined by the ending monologue where Jeff says that he is perfect and no one else is.

The episode almost works, but Clarence was too annoying in the middle, the dad was terrible, and the ending was really insulting, given how much they got us to like this kid.

I love Clarence and I'm all for this list. I need to catch up. I'm happy it's getting a season 2. I was worried since the creator wanted to be a perv.
