The Amazing Digital Circus is one of the best and most exciting new cartoons I have seen this entire decade so far! The last cartoons that had me this hyped were The pilot to Hazbin Hotel and The Owl House.

I love just about everything about this episode. First of all, the animation is spectacular and fits the early computer edutainment game vibe perfectly. The art style is incredibly unique with amazing character designs and an interesting world to put them in. The music is also amazing with Gooseworx composing most of it herself. This episode was both a visual and auditory delight!

The world that this show takes place in seems to be full of almost infinite possibilities for what could happen from episode to episode (or moment to moment even). It just makes me so excited to see what happens next (if this pilot gets greenlit into a full series that is).

The story is one of the most immediately captivating that I have ever seen. My mind is already running wild with theories for what could possibly be going on and I can't wait to see each and every one of them answered. This pilot also feels like it only has given us a taste of what to expect from and full series. This is just the tip of the iceberg and that thought makes me feel more excited for this than almost anything else that I have seen in literal years.

This is also one of the funniest cartoon episodes I have seen in a very long time. The vast majority of the jokes hit hard and the ones that didn't were drowned out by the ones that did. There were at least half a dozen or so jokes that had me dying of laughter. Just about anything that came out of Caine, Jax, or especially Kinger's mouths were almost always comedy gold. This show has near perfect comedic timing and a lot of incredibly unique gags that make it easily the most original feelings comedic cartoon since at least Smiling Friends.

Perhaps my favorite thing in this entire pilot (aside from the concept itself) were the characters. I love just about all of them. Pomni is a fascinating fish out of water protagonist who was isekai'd to a world that she didn't want to come to and wants nothing more than to leave. Caine is basically the god of this world and can do basically whatever he wants, but spends his time making games and adventures to entertain the others who got trapped here. This also goes for Bubble minus the god part and add in some dark jokes and non-sequiturs. Ragatha is the straight man (or in her case woman) to the insanity around her and helps introduce Pomni to this new world. Jax is a chaotic jerk who loves to prank the others, talk back to everyone with a snarky one liner, and avoid doing work by any means necessary. Kinger is the person who has been trapped here the longest and has almost completely lost his mind because of it, but with that being said he is the funniest character in this episode. Gangle is incredibly shy and just seems to want to help her friends and fix her broken mask. Zooble just doesn't want anything to do with anything that is going on and just wants to stay out of it. They also are incredibly snarky and sarcastic. As a whole, this is a fantastic cast of characters who are almost all well fleshed out and fully realized, entertaining, interesting, and instantly lovable. M favorites are Pomni, Ragatha, and Jax so far.

With all of that being said I can't wait for this to (hopefully) get picked up to become a full series because I absolutely loved it!
