Here are my thoughts on season 11 of Spongebob Squarepants. This has been the first season of Spongebob that I have been willing to call good in quite a long time. A vast majority of the episodes are pretty good, but while there is still a decent chunk of episodes that are of a lesser quality their honestly not that many in the grand scheme of things. The episodes are quite funny and well animated and there are plenty of creative and interesting plots. There actually have been a noticeable amount of really good episodes this season with some of the absolute best ones including Legends Of Bookini Bottom, Squid Noir, My Leg!, Whale Watching, Chefbob, Plankton Paranoia, and Karen Virus which are easily among the best episodes the show has had in quite some time. Still, this season isn't without its problems. Even though I do like the more exaggerated animation and jokes there are still a couple of jokes that aren't that funny and sometimes the amount of detail could be a bit gross. There are only a couple of episodes that I dislike throughout the entirety of this season which are Fun Sized Friends, Ink Lemonade, and Squirrel Jelly. That is a very small number of lower quality episodes for Spongebob at this point and that is a very good thing. This season was pretty good as a whole and I think that they even managed to make a season of this quality this late in the game really gives a reason to why it has so much staying power. All I can say is that I am excited to see what the show will bring from this moment forward.

Since this is the first time I am talking about Spongebob after his passing I think I should dedicate this post to Stephen Hillenburg and thank him for creating such a wonderful show. He will be missed.
