You have probably heard this so many times already at this point, but I am just glad that 2020 is finally over. Honestly it was probably the worst year I have ever had for a myriad of different reasons that I won't get into right now. With that being said their has to be a silver lining somewhere and for me it was animation. Overall I thought that 2020 at the very least was a decent year for animation. It admittedly wasn't a great year for animated movies or anime, but in my opinion it was quite good with cartoons at the very least. I will also say that it seems like streaming is almost completely taking over animation right now. Only one of the things in this top ten actually debuted on tv. Alright, here are my top ten favorite things in animation 2020. Honorable mentions include Close Enough, Looney Tunes Cartoons, Onward, Trolls World Tour, The Croods The New Age, Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge, We Bare Bears: The Movie, and Magical Girl Friendship Squad. I would also like to give a shoutout to The Sonic The Hedgehog Movie even though it is mostly live action. Now on to the list.
