"Hiccup, wait for me!", Merida laughed as she ran through the meadow with her friend. "You'll have to catch me first!", Hiccup taunted as he ran faster, but he stopped when he heard a noise. "What is it, Hic? Why aren't you running?", Merida asked. "Shh! I heard a noise. It sounds like... a baby", the young Viking said, and then he heard the noise again. "Bah-bah-bah-bah-bah!" It was a baby. "Sounds like it's coming from over there. Let's go look!", Merida said as she ran towards where the noise was coming from, and Hiccup followed her. They gasped when they saw the baby sitting on a stone in a clearing in the meadow all by himself. He was not at all shy, and when he noticed the two older children he threw his little arms up and squealed. "Aww, you're so cute! Yes you are, yes you are!", Merida said as she tickled the baby, and he laughed. "Where did he come from?", Hiccup wondered aloud. The baby just looked up at him for a moment, then pointed out to the meadow and said simply, "Bah." "Hey, he needs a name", Merida said. "Well, look at him. How about Pinky?", Hiccup suggested. "OK. Pinky it is", Merida said. "We'd better get you out of here before a dragon snatches you", Hiccup said as he picked Pinky up, who immediately started crying. "Why is he crying? Did I do something wrong?", the boy yelled over the baby's screams. "No. He looks old enough to walk", Merida told him. "Alright", Hiccup said as he set him down, and he stopped crying. He took a few steps forward and then started running through the meadow. "Bah bah bah bah bah!", Pinky babbled as if to say "You can't catch me!" "It's hard being a parent", Hiccup moaned before he and Merida took off after their little toddler.

An idea I had last night: what if Kid!Merida and Kid!Hiccup were the ones who found Roshan (the baby from Ice Age whom some of you might remember as "Pinky") instead of Manny, Sid, and Diego? and then this happened.
