I love it but don't you think it would be simpler to make if you used shorter hair, doesn't it get tangled?

The hair generally does not get tangled if the pony is handled with care.
I leave the hair long on my customs so that the buyer has the option to cut it to whatever length they desire, though most custom pony fans prefer the hair left long.
