That moment when you haven't uploaded a comic in so long, DeviantArt changed their layout.

So this is yet another comic that was inspired by a conversation on Discord. My friend changed his OC's colors for the day which led to the thought "what if the mane six's palettes were swapped?" To be perfectly honest, it was actually kind of confusing even for me to figure out who's who. I actually had to redraw part of panel one because I had accidentally given Rarity Applejack's mane style.

I should note that the original draft of the script had a much different ending. The last pony Moonbeam would meet was going to be Trixie (sporting Twilight's colors), and the punchline was going to be that it's Opposite Day. Moonbeam remarked, "Thank Celestia. For a moment, I thought I was on the path to becoming an alicorn princess." That ending was scrapped as soon as I realized it'd be much funnier if this was all one of Rainbow Dash's elaborate pranks. Much more satisfying payoff.

I think it's interesting how everypony remains perfectly in character despite having each other's color schemes and doing each other's jobs. A friend said it reminded them of a drunk version of Magical Mystery Cure, to which I largely agree.
