While I was working on my Quartz shader edits ( www.deviantart.com/mmd-kyu/art…), I ended up getting this beautiful glossy black color. Its appearance reminded me of obsidian, a kind of volcanic glass, so that's what I named it. The effect was so different from the other ones in this set, so I'm distributing it separately as I work on more edits and fine-tune them. It's been a while since I've posted an effect, anyway.

So! There's some news. I have a second BowlRoll now! On this one, I will only upload my effect edits! I will still use my older ones for models, parts, etc, but this new one is where all future effect downloads go. Here's the link bowlroll.net/user/572228.

This effect may require some adjustments to the lighting to really emphasize the glossiness. It also might not appear the same on different models, so it might not appear as glossy on other models.

I recommend using this on parts that are already black or gray, to give them a very glossy appearance.
