Description
So here are my fan made suits of Captain Philippines . Actually he does exist in comics as Captain Philippines and Boy Pinoy only around 1960s since Philippines is a huge Marvel comic fan . What's depressing is that it was forgotten as today's entertainment focused solely on Mars Ravelo's heroes . I do enjoy them since they are part of my childhood . But there are many Filipino superheroes that are long gone and never got adapted today . So I decided to bring back one of the heroes that I would like to make it in the spotlight . A mix of old but with new twists . So here ya go . Meet Captain Philippines . The soldier who fights for liberty and for the voice of the Filipino people . And here are their suits which embodies the patriotism of every man who took the title .

WW2 Suit

Before the war , Benecio Villanueva works as a carpenter for the villagers who do not have a home to shelter . Hence why he already has a muscular build for years of hardwork and experience . He simply lived a life as a farmer , carpenter and a fisherman as well . He lives only with his mother and his 2 brothers Joaquin and Manuel . He also acts a village leader who will protect the town from unwanted strangers such as fruit stealers and livestock stealers . He is secretly a practicioner of Kali and other martial arts for hand to hand combat . He has the hots for Maria Jacinto , the daughter of Colonel Ryan Jacinto who often visits his village for any disaster reliefs . Few days later , Japanese forces started to occupy most towns and cities of the Philippines . And one of the villages is from Benecio . The entire hometown got burned and looted and anyone who are unable to escape are captured and killed especially women . His mother died saving her sons as she let them escape . On that day , Benecio swore to liberate his country from the Japanese forces as he signs up to be a soldier . His days of training were a bit hard even though he has fighting skills . After months of training , he went into his first battle to destroy a Japanese outpost that is hidden in the village . The odds are against the Filipinos but he still went on and charged ahead at the enemy while carrying the flag of the Philippines . After his first successful mission , he is given the name that he would forever inspire hope to the country , the day he is called " Captain Philippines " . Benicio first dawns in his early suit simply a faint blue combat jacket with faint red on the belly , white on the chest with a hand sewn sun and three faint golden stars aligned in horizontal position . He wears a steel helmet with a capital " P " on it and a Bomber's cowl for the mask . He is equipped with the M1A1 Thompson being his primary weapon , the classic M1911 Colt 45 pistol as his secondary and lasty his heraldic shield as his signature weapon with the colors of the flag . His second outfit is made by the courtesy of Howard Stark as Captain Philippines and Captain America fought side by side to liberate towns and rescue POWs . The 2nd suit is now armored with more straps and grey accents in a similar fashion to Steve Roger's suit . It was now his last and final suit as he is finally killed in action on December 25 1944 for his efforts to destroy Japanese HYDRA techs that are trying to bombard his allies .

Present Day suit ( First Design and Stealth )

Timeskip to our modern times , a new soldier has took up the mantle of Captain Philippines when the country is in need . First appeared during the Marawi Siege with the predominantly blue suit . He is now equipped with a Vibranium shield since Vibranium can easily be mined in the Philippines . Created a shield in a similar fashion to Captain America's . The suit is now armored and padded with the helmet is also made to follow Captain America's design . The sun symbol is much larger and the three stars are placed in different places . The two stars are placed on the shoulder pads while the third is placed below the sun . This suit has less red with more dark accents to fit the modern military look . Captain Philippines last appeared wearing a darkened suit and darkened shield for stealth operations to rescue hostages . The rescue was successful but Captain Philippines went missing . No one knows how he went missing as he was with his squad to rescue and cover fire . They only found his shield as the stealth colors are weared off .

With Cpt. Juan Bonifacio missing , a new Captain Philippines has just appeared in a form of a replica of Benicio's suit . This is non other than Benedicto Villanueva . A direct descendant of Benecio Villanueva and Maria Villanueva Jacinto . He took up the mantle with no Military experience as he relies only his skills . He investigated the whereabouts of the New Captain America who went missing from the Marawi siege . The replica suit is slightly different from the original WW2 suit . The suit's colors are now brightened and the grey accents are lessened . Instead of brown boots and brown gloves , they are now colored red . Captain Philippines soon found Juan Bonifacio who appears to be taken hostage by the surviving terrorists of Marawi . He rescued Juan and destroyed every single terrorists that captured him . Some retreated and others are unlucky to get caught in the explosions . After the mission , Benedicto gave up the mantle and returned it to Juan . Knowing that even if he is a direct descendant of the hero , he feels not worthy to take the burden as he will forge his own path of his own way to help people . He visited the museum as he placed the original WW2 suit of his descendant and kept the replica for whatever purpose it may serve in the future .

Reimagined suit

With Juan now back in line , he redesigns his suit with balancing colors . His gloves and boots are now partially red and his shoulder pads are blue and the black accents are replaced with the blue color . The three stars are now in his chest and abdomen . He continues to fight any enemies he comes across that causes potential threats to the country . Every battle he fights also gets his suit damaged and repairs them everytime . He then redesigns his suit again in a more classic way . The upper body of the suit is now white and he also redone the shoulder pads into white just like his first suit . The helmet is also partially colored white while maintaining blue accents . Instead of a letter " P " on the forehead , it's replaced with a star . Earning Captain America with lots of nicknames the locals can come up with . The most popular is the " The Soldier of the sun " as known for his massive sun symbol on the chest .
