Inuyasha refuses to hold the twins after they’re born. When he first visits the day after, Miroku tries to convince him to hold one and he’s just nope nope absolutely not. He’ll help in any other way he can, but he’s not holding them. They are very small and very fragile and he is not holding them, nope.
It’s not until Sango almost burns dinner one night, and just fucking thrusts them both into his arms that Inuyasha is finally forced to hold them.
So now he’s just sitting there, baby in each arm, staring at Miroku absolutely petrified and whispering “help me”, while Miroku just falls flat on his back laughing.
The guy can tear down a hoard of Demons and not blink, but give him two babies and he’s never looked so terrified.
