Well it's not really natural, since the snake is not hunting for its own food, it's being handed to him in a box....

You said in the comments that this scene was completely natural. I'm just saying that it's not, really..

nope not at all, firstly you misquoted me, i never once said this scene is "completely natural" nor did i ever imply it was shot in a natural setting, all i stated was that it is part of mother nature's plan for survival, for one animal to eat another... in other words you can expect to feed a snake rice crispies simply because it no longer lives in the wild.

Great shot. I've seen a snake eat before, but never in a well taken photograph. Anyway

What I find interesting about this pic is that it looks like the snake is smiling. lol
But I suppose he has a full belly now so why wouldn't he be?

This is a really great shot. The focus on the snake is amazing, as is the pattern on the snake in general. Great job!

Wow, really nice capture! I like how you have the other mouse in the background, in the box... it's like the snake is just waiting to finish the one so it can devour the second.
Good work!

I know it's natural and all..but I can't help feeling sorry about the poor mouse. Anyway I would much rather watch a snake consume a live mouse than a human hurting an animal, so meh..
