hmm that is odd, an Enuk Chuck is a Native American/First Nation word (not sure of which language) for a rock statue of a man... much like the Vancouver Olympics symbol. I always thought that is what he said.

Apache Chief was my favorite superhero growing up. Who could mess with you when you can become bigger than the planet (episode: Colossus). I always wanted to be him.

He was one of my favorites as well. Completely underutilized on the cartoon though. It was as if he forgot he could get big sometimes.

A very good hero; besides his power, he was a great tracker and had some skills at fighting even in normal size.

I love his speech patterns in the show. Very clipped kind of Tonto-ish until he had to say something technical.

Some of the Superfriends, such as El Dorado, weren't really that racist, and Black Vulcan was clearly Black Lightning with the serial numbers filed off.
But putting a loincloth on a man whose power is to tower over you???
