I have to admit tho, my preference has always been Garrett/Anders and Marian/Fenris XD prolly because those were how i played my first and second playthroughs hahaha.

I tried to romance Anders a few times, but it never worked... Maybe I'd have to make different Hawke for that since I always ever play Garrett and in my book he's just meant for Fenris....
When I replay DA2 gain I'll try that but I know I'll just pick default Garrett... once again.. ...

On my primary save file I have a strawberry blond green eyed diplomatic rogue hawke who romanced anders and sided with the mages and let anders live. Aodhan was pretty different from the default Garrett . Bekah is my female sarcastic Mage hawke who had a fling with fenris but ultimate ended up with Merrill. Hahaaaaa.
Just curious but have you played the other da games? If you did who did you tend to romance?

Haaaa... I really only had Garrett all the timexD I don't really like creating characters in games (I can't... care about them...) so I happily go for default character.

i get really super attached to my created characters in games XD or even if i get to naem my character.... or like any pokemon i nickname when i playing pokemon ahhhhh. Β but when im playing the dragon age games im really into roleplaying them? in the game.like before i start the game with a new player character, i decide on personality, motivations, basic back story, and then i make choices that fit in with that particular characters traits XD and then i get super attached.Β
but in origins i played a fem rogue human noble who romanced alistair and became queen and lived. and my Main hawke is my Male rogue diplomatic hawke who romanced anders/sided with mages. and in inquisition i played a female human rogue who sided with templars and romanced cullen. ^^

Yeah, I'm unable to do that xD I only care abt characters that are already there... so that's why Garrett is the only playable DA character I care about, since he's a set one (and I only played as him so)...
Creating my own is just smth that I speed through and I even name them all the same to save time ( and it's a joke name that my sis suggested... Kaligula it is xD), decisions just fit what I feel is ok.

fair enough! i get all sorts of names for my characters, but i tend to go with Japanese, Korean, or Gaelic names XD I use Yuu or Yume a lot. Warden was Dayoung Cousland, Aodhan Hawke, and Niamh Trevelan.
and Niamh was raised in a devout chantry family, so at the point in the story where you had to choose, she was more inclined to go with cullen and the chantry views on things, but by the end she was pretty center ground, Transitioning her chantry leanings to a more encompassing compassionate view to all kinds of folks. I kinda feel like she and cullen made that journey together, and because of it, it made it easier for them to lean on each other as needed, and makes me enjoy that romance all the more so. Β If she had been in DA2 she would have been diplomatic like my hawke. XD
and my Hawke was a bit traumatized by the flight from lothering and started of being very agressive and looking out only for his family and friends, but the longer he spent in kirkwall the more compassionate and diplomatic he became XD Β I have issues. lol. so much rp in my head. haha.Β
