Description
The second, and better in my opinion, drawing of Ophelia from "Hamlet".It took me while, as I was trying to draw all the details well. I have to say I am proud of this work, especially of the hair. But it's definitely the last water-releated drawing for some time.
The title was inspired by Florence + The Machine's song.

Oh yes, it was partly inspired by their song, which is great, of course.
Thanks a lot!

Well, I didn't mean to draw her, but Amy's a lovely woman, so I'm glad my Ophelia looks alike to her in your opinion.

Great job on those bubbles! I also love your addition of clothes and a necklace. The necklace really seems to be floating! You even remembered to give it a shadow on her skin, that's great!
You can indeed be proud of the hair, too!
If there's just a few things I'd say could make it 'pop' more, is to darken her pupils a bit (because even under water, they'd still be almost pitch-black looking) and make the hairs in her eyebrows a bit more random. I know the girl in the reference has very carefully plucked eyebrows, but the hairs still have a different growing direction (from almost straight up nearest to the nose, to almost horizontal the farther away from that point).
These are just a few pointers though, for an overall great looking drawing!

I'm so, so, so glad you like those details!
Actually, I didn't darken the pupils because I wanted them to look somehow empty. Having no idea how to do it, I decided to make them quite bright, but not blind. However, I wasn't too satisfied with the result. The eyebrows have learnt me a lesson - I shouldn't have given less attention to any of the details. I just drew and didn't care much about them, what's a pretty shame to admit. Only thing I can say is - next time I'll do better!
Thank you for the fave (!) and for the honest critique!

I do like those details very much, it shows you put a lot of effort into making something unique!
I understand what you tried to do with her eyes. Just from an outsiders point of view: You already nailed that empty, vacant look in her eyes by the entirety of the eye, the expression you put in them!
The eyebrows are something that's easy to rush a bit, I know from experience.
You're very welcome! I'm glad you're happy with what I told you I saw. I myself am always happy to hear about things like that because they help me improve.
You did very well!

Now I know it wasn't the best way to make them look vacant.
It's pretty irritating when you spoil such thing as eyebrows, isn't it?
Thank you once again!

The great thing is though, we tend to not make the same mistakes again.
You're very welcome dear!
