Maybe. Enemies just want to kill each other. Rivals just want to be better than each other, with a 50/50 chance of living or dying. A true friend would fight against their other friend, to knock some sense into them. Much like Bright Noa's slap, but with punching.

At least Tomino has recently stopped being the George R.R. Martin of Japan, unlike Gen Urobuchi. When either of them write a story, characters start dying, like in Game of Thrones. But, there are games like Super Robot Wars, to help stop such unnecessary deaths.

I played with Alfa and Β impact!Β That is a good game.
But I was not good at playing the game, so I could not clear it...

I'm not so good at playing such strategy games, either. But, I'm glad such games fixed the stories of shows like Code Geass and Gundam SEED Destiny.
