I think they gave enough of a build up for them, for a show thats primarilyΒ about friendship, i know their two episodes can easily only be seen as platonic, but i think its enough. I honestly didnβt think any of the mane6 would romantically get on with anyone, and who knows maybe the IDW comic will give a little bit of teasing
