This is elegant in your own style! The only thing I found weird is the translucent look on her mane, which may be applied on manga drawings but may not be applicable to other styles. Also the mane needs a bit more highlight.

I totally fail on that, hair part, i always make Rarity's mane super thin and shiny, but then Ariel's hair got to my head, but you're right it does needs highlight
