That was an aspect that wasn't answered in EqG. If there's a 3rd EqG movie would it address it? Or would it address it in the rumored Equestria Academy(which is gonna air on France before USA).

Maybe they mentioned it in the IDW comics? I don't know if the writers want to pick that up, personally I don't read the comics, but I love how they did Sunset Shimmer's backstory.
