In any alt-history universe besides one where Bhutan is just a majestic giga nation, I CANNOT see Bhutan becoming a successful communist nation, and if anything, we'll end up just being another Chinese protectorate. So here's a flag for that.Related content

Bhutan is like the chill Buddhist guy of Asia living in a broke down tiny dirty hut getting by with a primitive garden and what it offers. But he still is happy with it for some reason and doesn't try to really improve or chagne anything.

Yeah, which is why in any likely scenario, for whatever reason, China will just take it. Will it happen in reality? I am not sure, if they wanted to, they probably would've done so long ago.

Idk either. It's an udnerdeveloped region. I am not sure if they got any epic resources making taking it worth it. Or if its position is very tactically useful.
