That Henry Fitzroy. He's the subtle type.This is my contribution to the small pool of "Blood Books" inspired fan-arts. Look upon them: Vicki Nelson, the surly heroine; Henry Fitzroy, Prince of Darkness; and Mike Celluci, resident straight-guy!
If you've read the Blood Books, you've probably noticed Henry's habit of giving himself pep-talks when the chips are down. He can usually kick himself into action simply by reitierating what we all know: he is vampire! We get it, Henry. You is Vampire. Now get off the table before you knock over the coffee!

I've read a lot of Tanya Huff's books but not the Blood series yet... but I still find this comic funny since it actually suits most vampires. And the gal telling him to get off the table, just brings a smile to my face.

The tv show depressed me a little to tell you the truth--mostly because they took out Tony and replaced him with Corinne! XD I love Tony! And I'm glad he recieved his own trilogy.

I read an article about why they made that particular decision in the show. The lack of physical relationships sets up an atmosphere of tension and anticipation. It actually makes for better viewing, I think, because then a viewer has the abilty to guess "which one will she choose, ahg?!"
However...I was a little bummed-out when I heard Tony had been removed from the story. I liked him!

I read the books after I saw the first season and then I was like "Omg, they changed so much." Mike in the books is like...Grr! and the henry in the books is actually much more...detatched. But I did like the Coreen character in both.
