Gouache paints with coloured pencil on watercolour paper

Been a while since I've done some bear art, and was feeling an itch to do some, but I'm a little backlogged on art projects right now, so I decided to do something quick and just "copy" a photo. The picture I choose is of a good friend of mine, Domonic. I discovered him on Tumblr a long time ago. Despite Tumblr's (former) reputation, Dom doesn't post skin pics, but I still found him to be one of the most handsome fella's I'd ever come across on the interwebs. One day, I stumbled upon him on FaceBook as "someone I might know", and even though all I'd done was lust after him from afar, I took a chance and sent the request. And I'm so glad I did because he's become one of my favorite people - he's as wonderful as he is handsome. In the course of our friendship, he's trusted me with a couple pictures, such as the one I referenced to make this painting... which I have his permission to post. I'm happy with how it turned out, even though it is "only" a copy. Though, for what it's worth, the original photo was in black&white, so I exercised a little bit of creativity in making the painting in colour. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it - I enjoyed painting it.
