Description
This was done for of 's character Cobalt SolaceI tried to keep with the artists use of 5 colors on Cobalt Solace, so the base color layer is exactly 5 colors pulled from the reference drawing. All shading on him was done with two layers of dark blue set on multiply.
The background was very hard but I wanted to include one because I need more practice. so this is my attempt at rendering a forest setting ^^

the pose is really graceful. I love how he's looking over his shoulder, and his expression is really deep. ^^
I also love the feel of the entire scene~ the sun rays coming down thru the trees and the warm grass really make this complete!
