Description
As a disclaimer the actual photo quality is not great. But in thinking about the subject matter of being in the military, the gritty imperfections are almost a plus. This is a photo taken of me by my squadmate while on maneuvers in Ft. Hood, TX in 1989. I was driving a HEMTT in a rocket resupply platoon for an MLRS battery (A Battery, 92nd FA, 2nd Armored Division - Hell on Wheels).

My uncle served with the 92nd AFA in the Korean War. I did this illustration of one of their 155's: [link]

I took a look at your illustration - great job! I found a pic of your dog showing its teeth here (about half way down on the page): [link]
Sadly I think my bit of the 92nd is gone now. Alpha Battery (MLRS) was the last of the 1/92nd batallion, which was part of the 2nd AD (Hell on Wheels). The division and my unit was apparently disbanded somwhere between 1993-95.
At least my unit in Germany (C Btry 16th FA) is still kicking, although they have moved from the 8th ID to the 2nd Brigage 4th ID and were last deployed in 2006 to Najaf, Iraq,
