Very good. I've seen a few 'water splash' shots in my time, but this has to be one of the best. Very sharp and the colour is nice. I think you did well to capture this on the Ixus 400...not that it's a bad camera or anything, it's just an impressive shot!

The lens on ixus is quite good for macro shots. I was always amazed by the results.

rar mini swimming pool! What I really like about this is the blues, forget the splash, they blues really brighten my eyes up, which I like, I can feel my pupils adjust to them when I look at the photo.

How in the world did you take this with that camera??
I have a similar camera, the powershot S200 (which i believe is the 2mp version of the same camera), and it can't do macro at all!.

Hmm. Well I'm at a stage where I'm really frustrated with the limitations of my camera, but not being able to afford a digital slr just yet. So I try to push it as far as it goes really. I used the macro setting, set it to under-expose a bit, ISO speed 50 and I did use the flash for this one.
